  • O.J. Simpson could Receive new Trial In 2007, O.J. Simpson received a sentence of nine to 33 years in prison for his role in a 2007 robbery in Las Vegas. Simpson was attempting to recover sports memorabilia he claims was stolen from him after his acquittal on double murder charges. At the time of his sentencing, Simpson was 60 years old, and it was anticipated he would spend the rest of his natural life in prison. That could change, as attorneys for the former NFL star have been somewhat successful at an appeals attempt.
